British tannery C. F. Stead is renowned worldwide for its premium leather and is a staple on the Northamptonshire production line. For this new edition of our 1460 8-eye boot, its used the tannery’s Tufted Nubuck: a soft, fine-grain leather made using the reverse side of nubuck.
Made in England at the original Wollaston factory.
Tufted Nubuck is a reversed suede with a long-haired nap.
